All dancers must attend classes in the proper dancewear. All the dancewear and dance shoes you will need this year will be available to try on and order at the dance studio at the Open House and Shoe Sale. You are not required to get your dancewear from us. Your dancer will need pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes. Leotards can be any color, with or without a skirt, light pink or white tights and a dance bag. 

Your costume fee will run in the $51 range and will be used for the recital and both ballets. Half or the costume fee will be due in mid-October with the balance due mid-November. Older dancers who take more than one class per week will have other costume fees.

We will continue our tradition of the “THE NUTCRACKER” in December. Our spring ballets will happen in early May. Tickets for our ballet performances will be $18.00 for adults and $8.00 for children. The RECITAL is usually a Saturday morning. There is no charge for the recital. All performances will be held in The Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts.

Classes are available for dancers ages 2.5 (as of August 17th) and up. Young dancers need to be told that parents will not be inside the studio during classes except on “WATCH-DAYS.” All other classes are exclusively for students and teachers. This permits a better learning environment with fewer distractions. Once class time begins, you are welcome to leave or stay in the lobby until class is over. Your dancer will not be allowed into the lobby until you arrive.
